Cookies
This website uses cookies for analytics purposes. These cookies are useful to see which pages/posts are popular (and which aren’t!)
The site is connected to Google and much like many other websites Google collect data about visitors, interaction, engagement etc.
Cookies are gradually being phased out due to getting the balance right between satisfying marketeers/advertisers and the privacy ‘rights’ of individuals and their data.
At the time of writing this (April 2012) there are a number of ‘sandbox’ initiatives and one of these is Federated Learning of Cohorts (FLOC) which is being tested by Google via the Chrome Browser.
This may replace the need for third party cookies in the future and this section will be updated accordingly.
Visit the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) for more information about cookies.
The ICO’s detailed information explains everything you need to know about cookies and guides you on how you can protect your privacy.
